Migraines

Since giving birth to her first child, two years previously, this lady had been suffering from debilitating migraine attacks.   The severe, throbbing headache coupled with nausea and sensitivity to light and sound had been getting progressively worse in intensity leaving her unable to function normally.

The migraines could last from 24 to 48 hours in duration.  The migraines were linked to her hormonal cycle, and during this time she also experienced a tightness in the left hand side of her neck.

Happily her outcome after treatment with acupuncture and acupressure was very positive with an immediate alleviation of her symptoms.  My client will continue to need treatment each month to coincide with her hormonal cycle, however, she now has her situation fully under control.
